Here are three ways to control diabetes to consider*
Practice Relaxation Techniques – There are few things that can help control blood sugar levels than relaxing and reducing stress. Having a personal hot tub or lap pool at home makes it easy to take advantage of this relaxation technique every day at any time.
Walk it Off – Exercise is an excellent tool to help control symptoms of diabetes. Just walking for 15 to 30 minutes each day will help increase the body’s metabolism and can also help reduce risk of diabetes related complications like heart and cardiovascular problems.
Try Something New and Fresh – Use the month of November to monitor eating habits for improved health. Instead of trying to do a complete overhaul, replace one or two of the less nutritional items with delicious fresh fruits or vegetables. People who are not used to eating vegetables or fruits regularly can take this time to experiment and try new tastes to see which foods appeal to them best.
